Case Study: How Business Aviation Saves Your Time?

Private jet

In today’s fast-paced world, time is our most valuable asset. In business world, it’s even more critical. Every saved hour can be an investment back into growth, strategy, and leadership. Therefore, the business jet is becoming a necessity for modern managers. But how exactly does flying private save time? We have prepared a case study to investigate this in detail.

Many successful companies today treat fast and flexible travel as a strategic element of the corporate budget. Still, traditional air travel steals tens to hundreds of hours from our working days. Time, that could otherwise fuel innovation, execution, or face-to-face meetings.

For example, imagine that a CEO based in Paris needs to attend an important conference on the other side of Europe. In this case, flights are the only practical way to cover the distance. However, the CEO has major meetings scheduled in Paris shortly after the conference ends, making it logistically challenging. Not only would choosing a conventional airline be unlikely to offer flexible scheduling, but flight delays could also threaten the CEO's attendance at important meetings.

So, is there really a solution to this difficult situation?

Airport Terminal

Commercial Airlines and it’s Biggest Downsides

Standard scheduled flights are usually the first option that companies consider. With over 30,000 such flights in European airspace alone each day, one might think this dense network would cover most corporate needs. But for business travel, that’s often where the problems begin.

It starts with the arrival at the airport itself. In most European cities, you can expect to spend 30 to 60 minutes of travel, plus time for parking or transferring from public transit. Then comes the standard 90+ minute early check-in window, security lines, and unpredictable boarding. And although many airports and airlines around the world have tried to optimise their processes in recent years, in practice this still means queues, delays and often tens of minutes of unproductive waiting that could normally be used for work and urgent tasks.

Standard scheduled flights are usually the first choice for business travel. But nowadays there are much more efficient solutions. Travelling smart pays off.

Then there’s the flight itself. Direct connections are limited, which often means you’ll need to connect through major hubs, such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam or London. These layovers can stretch what should normally be a short flight into a half-day journey. Add in the airline's tight schedules, and you're forced to adapt your business agenda to someone else's timetable.

But even when the airline's schedule is convenient, there is still one major problem: productivity during your journey. How much valuable work can you get done while standing in lines, navigating transfers, or sitting in a noisy terminal? Most business travelers already know the answer. This is where business jet travel comes in, giving time back to those who need to make the best use of it.

Best solution: Business Aviation as a clear path to efficiency

Private flying brings passengers not only speed and comfort, but above all the ability to manage their entire flight plan on their own terms. As a result, they avoid the unnecessary compromises that conventional travel entails, whether it's fixed departure times, long layovers or unpredictable delays.

But how exactly does business aviation solve these problems? Let's look at JetBee, an airline that personalizes every single flight for its clients. Need to fly in the morning? In the afternoon? Or even in the evening? We'll take care of it. If your meeting drags on or gets pushed back, we'll simply reschedule your flight. No need to adapt to the airline, because the airline adapts to you. This flexibility is a key.

Another major benefit is the time saving itself. With private travel, you can show up at the terminal just minutes before departure and everything from security check to boarding happens without queues and unnecessary delays. What usually takes four to five hours with commercial airlines, takes significantly less time with a private flight. You can also say goodbye to connections and long layovers, because with such travel, you can fly directly to your destination.

Private flying will change your business approach. Thanks to charter flights, what used to be long business trips can be done in a day.

What’s more, private jets give you the mental space to perform. The cabin is quiet, private, and distraction-free, which is perfect for fine-tuning a pitch or relaxing before a difficult meeting. Not to mention the delicious in-flight catering. You definitely won't be hungry when you arrive at the meeting.

Still, this is not all. The client experience is also a game-changer. No self-check-in and no "please arrive two hours early." When you book, you only need to provide the essentials, and we'll handle the rest. Just show up and step on board.
The biggest win? What used to be a two-day business trip involving an overnight stay, late dinners, and a tired return can now be completed in one day. Leave in the morning, arrive feeling refreshed, handle your meetings, and sleep in your own bed that night.

JetBee transforms your travels. It turns a stressful logistical puzzle into a comfortable extension of your workday. All of a sudden, air travel isn't something you have to plan around. It becomes something that works for you. This is important because, in today's world, focusing on what matters is truly important.

Let’s bring this idea to life with two real case studies, based on actual JetBee flights. While we’ve changed the characteristics of the clients to maintain privacy, which is our key value at JetBee, the routes and timings reflect our real flight operations.

Case Study 1: CEO Flies the Route Krakow–Zurich–Krakow in a Single Workday

Imagine the working day of the CEO of one of the largest fintech companies in Central Europe. He has a meeting with his team at the company's HQ in Krakow at 10:00, but at 14:30 he has a key meeting with Swiss investors in Zurich, and by 19:30 he has to be back in Krakow for an important company meeting. Making this work with commercial flights? Virtually impossible.

The Commercial Flight Scenario

The current commercial airline schedule does not allow us to get the CEO from Krakow to Zurich and back on the same day, based on his requirements. To get to Zurich, he would have to leave in the morning with a connection via Warsaw, Frankfurt or Vienna, and would not arrive in Zurich until late afternoon. Even here, his plans do not correspond to reality, and for a company manager with responsibility for hundreds of people, such a scenario does not make sense.

Taking a private flight with JetBee

Taking a private flight with JetBee is a whole different story. After wrapping up the morning meeting, the CEO heads to the private terminal at the Krakow airport, where the captain greets him. There are no lines or delays, and within minutes, he is sitting on the plane waiting for him. He departs from Krakow at 12:00. By 13:30, he lands in Zurich. A short 30-minute ride later, he is ready and refreshed for his investor pitch.

The meeting ends at 16:30, and the CEO is back at the airport by 17:00, where his plane is ready and waiting. A few minutes later, the plane takes off, and by 18:30, it’s back in Krakow. The CEO arrives at the evening corporate program with plenty of time to spare.

Total Time Comparison

Let's now summarize how much time the CEO was actually able to save. You can also see how private jets performed compared to regular airlines in the infographic below, which we've prepared for you and which breaks down the timeline in detail.

Commercial Flights:

  • approx. 30 hours away from the office
  • 1–2 layovers minimum
  • high probability of delays and disrupted plans
  • overnight hotel stay required

JetBee:

  • Less than 7 hours away from the office (including meetings in Zurich)
  • Fully flexible schedule
  • No layovers, no compromises.

Case Study 2: The DJ Performing at Gigs in Prague, Dublin & Mallorca in 24 Hours

A top European DJ just finished a sold-out set at a club in Prague. Most artists would take the next day off, but not him. Later that afternoon, he's performing on a rooftop stage in Dublin, and that same night, he's headlining at a legendary club in Mallorca. Sounds like a pretty packed schedule, right? Let’s first discuss whether it would have been possible to make it with commercial airlines.

The Commercial Flight Scenario

Sure, there are direct flights from Prague to Dublin, but none of them fit the DJ's schedule. Besides, after the Dublin event, he wouldn't have a reasonable way to get to Palma that night. There's the risk of fatigue, delays, and canceling shows, which would result in loss of profit and, most importantly, disappointed fans. Simply put, there's no way to do it the traditional way.

Taking a private flight with JetBee

Fortunately, the DJ is smart enough and chooses JetBee as his travel partner. After resting for a few hours, he arrives at the private terminal in Prague. Following a quick private security check with no waiting or crowds, he takes off for Dublin at 13:30, lands at 15:45 and heads straight to the city. At 17:00, he takes the stage for a rooftop sunset session. Once the show wraps up, he heads back to the airport, where the JetBee crew is waiting for him. At 20:00, he flies directly to Mallorca, reaching Palma at 22:30. And just after the midnight, he walks into a sold-out club, ready to cheer up the crowd for the second time that day.

Sound insane? Maybe with commercial airlines. But JetBee makes all the difference.

Total Time Comparison

Similar to the CEO case, let's look at the time balance. Again, the infographic below illustrates the whole situation. As with the first case study, it is clear that private jets have no competition.

Commercial Flights:

  • Not realistically possible
  • 2+ layovers
  • High risk of delays, cancellations, and burnout

JetBee:

  • Midnight set in Prague
  • Rooftop show in Dublin
  • club night in Mallorca
  • All in 24 hour cycle

While others are still queuing up to board, this DJ is already behind the decks at his next show, rested, prepared, and fully in control. Thanks to JetBee, no opportunity has to be missed. Fans enjoy flawless performances, promoters can count on him, and the artist gains total freedom and flexibility. With his own onboard space, he can even relax between sets.
