Pilots often start their careers as co-pilots or first officers, while gradually building up experience to become a captain. Along with other individuals involved in aircraft operations, pilots are responsible for pre-flight synchronisation with ATC as well as taking care of the passengers they carry. In addition to technical abilities, pilots must have excellent communication skills and a high tolerance level for stress.
„Aviation is not just a profession for me, it is a lifelong hobby. I studied Air Transport Operations and Economics at the University of Žilina and, since 2016, I have been working as a captain on our Hawker 400A/XP aircraft. As part of my education, I obtained the licences and certificates needed to work in international civil aviation.“
