Working as a pilot isn’t always easy but its challenges can be very gripping. Being a pilot and a flight instructor requires discipline, a unique combination of technical skills, the ability to responsibly make important decisions, and, crucially, a feel for aviation. Pilots have to be able to manage stress when working under pressure while also staying focused and alert during the flight to maintain safety onboard.
"As a pilot, captain, flight instructor, and lecturer in aviation, I highly emphasise using a range of practical and professional knowledge. I dedicate 100% of my work life and part of my personal life to aviation. I try to use the knowledge I acquire in practice when passing on experience to other pilots."
